Traditional Thai massage treatment

From Bangkok to Bank Street

I know how much life can take out of you. The long hours, the stress, the aches that never quite go away. I’ve spent nearly twenty years learning how to ease that tension, and I’d love to help you feel better.

I trained and worked in Bangkok before life brought me to Dumfries. Different country, same care and the same techniques I learned back home. My studio might be far from Thailand, but the massage is the real thing, and you’ll always be looked after.

Whether you need careful work on stubborn knots or simply want a proper break, you’re welcome here.

Questions I’m often asked

How do I book a massage?

The easiest way is the Book button next to any treatment, which lets you pick a time online. You can also call or text me on 07507 519270 and I’ll find a time that suits you.

Where is the studio?

You’ll find me at 19 Bank Street in Dumfries town centre, DG1 2NX, a two-minute walk from the High Street. The easiest place to park is the Whitesands riverside car park, and from there it’s a short walk up Bank Street to my door.

Which massage should I choose?

If your whole body feels stiff, go for the traditional Thai massage. For stubborn knots in one area, choose deep tissue. If you mainly want to unwind, the relaxing oil massage is the gentlest. And if you sit at a desk all day, the head, back and shoulder massage targets exactly where you hold that tension.

What should I wear?

For a traditional Thai massage you stay fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing. For oil and deep tissue massages you undress to whatever level you’re comfortable with, and you’re always properly covered with towels.

What are your opening hours?

I’m open every day from 10am to 7:30pm. Evening appointments book up quickly, so it’s worth reserving a day or two ahead.

Is a Thai massage painful?

It shouldn’t be. Thai massage uses firm pressure and stretching, so you’ll feel it working, but I always adjust to what your body can take. Tell me if anything feels too strong and I’ll ease off straight away.
